If you want to experience something unusual take a ride to visit Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton NJ… and bring someone special with you.
My visit wasn’t planned, but a spur of the moment visit to an art show, that took place in a building on the grounds. Not knowing what was beyond the path, that beckons you to come and visit, I began an adventure that took me into a creative world that touched each of my senses. It was a rainy, overcast day, which kept most of the humans away, so I felt I had this magical place all to myself to experience and take in. At each turn, I found myself catching my breath as each work of art exposed itself amongst it’s own unique naturally landscape. Look up, look down, look over there, now over here…your senses will fill and overflow with wonder as your eyes widen with excitement.
I truly felt I had fallen down a rabbit hole not wanting to return.
The peacocks were real! Part of the wildlife that calls these grounds home.

Don’t Text and Drive
1 out of every 4 car crashes is caused by
drivers using cell phones.
If you’re using a cell phone and driving, you might as well be driving drunk; the deadly habit of texting when behind the wheel is equivalent to drinking 4 beers.
The latest scientific research on driving and cell phone use demonstrates how the human brain goes into overload and cannot handle this kind of multitasking. Reaction time to what’s happening on the road is reduced substantially, and “inattention blindness,” a phenomenon where the brain never sees what’s in plain sight, occurs.
Statistics:
- In 2008, more than ½ million people were injured in car accidents caused by distracted drivers, most of them using cell phones or texting. Nearly 6,000 fatalities resulted.
- The AAA Foundation reported in 2009 that 95% of all drivers believe texting or emailing while driving is unsafe, yet, 1 in 5 admit to doing it anyway. In teens that number skyrockets to more than 1 in 2.
- In a University of Utah study, texting while driving increases the risk of crashing by 8 times, double the risk of causing a wreck while driving drunk.

Authentic Beatle Signatures Auctioned this Saturday
Prudential “Card Lift”
Susan Bastardo, a Prudential Real Estate Agent, was ready to spruce up her business card but had to remain within the parameters of Prudential’s regulations. We were able to get creative with the back as long as we used the Prudential “blue” color and font. A new picture and updated layout gave her business card a fresh look she will be proud to hand out. We added a glossy finish to the front but kept the back a matte finish leaving her able to write on it.
